CrossFit begins with a belief in fitness. It is the sport of doing everyday movements (squatting, walking, lifting, running, jumping, pulling, swinging, sitting up) uncommonly well. Through constant variation and high intensity, CrossFit athletes achieve noticeable gains and positive results.
CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective, as well as the beauty that every movement and workout can be scaled and modified to address individual needs.
